Smoke juice.

Since two years ago I stopped smoking cigarettes that's when I started to Vape was one of the best things I could  do and a decision made wish I did sooner. Finally I could smell fresh air and taste an apple without cigarettes I could even breath better.

Currently using an MVP with a mini pro tank soon to upgrade to a Nautilus mini.

Started off Vaping on Liqua smoke juice which was a big hype in Cape Town. In the beginning Vaping started to become the new 'in thing' like most new popular gimmick it became another phase short lived as replacement coils, juices were hard to come by also due to maintenance and mainly user error yet, others who went back to smoking cigarettes, unlike many others including myself took it to the next level. Over time slowly creeping were local guys importing bulk manufactured smoke juice, note that it was nothing mind blowing or any different to what was available. Understand my purpose when Vaping is purely flavour and taste preferred would be berry and sweet flavors - The lack of experience and knowledge, blinded by my ignorance eventually saw the light never knew my ego basic kit at the time wasn't doing justice till I purchased my MVP.

After a year gone by Vaping away was I then acquainted to people who only knew and was connected with the good smoke juice in abundance and equipment. Upon a brief visit to my new connect my taste buds had the privilege tasting some imports from Alien Vision, bobas bounty and Heather's equipment used was a HannaMod attached was a Nautilus tank, not knowing what to expect. I left there whilst driving home suddenly had an instant urge to upgrade my unit, which inevitably was going to happen. At that point within the Vape community Liqua smoke juice sales were down and very easy to come by even the price dropped to a point on any purchase a free 10ml bottle was given. The importers who purchased Liqua in bulk suffered if not ran at a loss, due to competition and the interest of people wanting to find a better Vaping experience. As the industry flourished overseas whilst locally the phase was almost extinct between the mainstream followers. Having newly discovered what is available abroad lead to the quality of juice being imported was tops which came undoubtedly and expected with top prices too. Which however was one of the factors putting me on a path sourcing juice elsewhere because my new addiction had me spending close to the same amount of money when smoking cigarettes.  Eventually I was connected with local manufactures cooking up some DIY smoke juice - blew my mind never thought this could be an option to make your own juice! Pondering on questions to myself, smoke juice for life! - that idea was short lived once I've researched the process and the amount if effort put in to creating smoke juice.

Purchasing from local suppliers who hand craft smoke juice doesn't leave a huge hole in pocket, thought to myself this is top quality at a low cost. Till I my visit at a local store by the name MOB. Met up with the head of store and sales manager who handed me a dripper (first time) with some Five Pawns juice soaking in the hand built dual coil, first pull was straight to the lungs gasped for air! Probably had smoke coming out my my ears. Very quickly discovered that you need to respect a dripper as a first timer. Finally had some light pulls eventually got used to the dripper also experiencing the taste of the Five Pawns juice. Once the coils ran dry the top cap came off and topped up with (for the life of me can't remember the name) strawberry juice - felt as if I've just eaten fresh strawberries. Explained to me was the difference between local crafted smoke juice and crafted juice from the states. Those guys use essence of actual produce in production when crafting the juice - I can explain if need be.

Where does that leave our local suppliers? Not far from the apple tree that I can promise. In the near future I hope to see truly top hand crafted smoke juice locally produced. Even if that means replicating methods used abroad? Why not.
