Breaking barriers

summer summer summer time!

An extended winter has passed, the warmth of summer is upon us. Cape town loves the summer days over December and January. Being withdrawn during the cold season depriving us of outdoor activities. Now that the suns out and having us experiencing mountain hikes maybe for the first time but who cares and long drives along the coast. Learning how to surf or catching up on a summer activity. The Cape is beautiful and has a variety to offer. whats your buzz?

Catching indy movies playing on clifton 4th beach at night perfect weather minus the common crowd. Hooking up with old friends because its festive and moving along swiftly when friends fade. Live in the moment they say, yeah whatevs.

Eish, time has gone by in an instant. My wife and I watching brainless TV realised that Nelson Mandela has passed away a year ago! In time it felt as if it was just a few months ago. As clear as water hibernation has taken it toll now its time to snap out of it and break that barrier that sheltered us through the rainy season. With December leave planned. Planned to get up from our ass and do things that come to mind with purpose.

Love finding new places that make good food, yeah im conscious of what I eat yet refuse to starve my body and follow some guy on the internet telling me what and when to eat. While piloting the carbio top down trying to catch a good bargain isn't hard to come by if you know where to look. Winter clothes packed away. Then getting a shocking reality check, training during the rainy season was put on hold for way too long. Clothing of the last summer season might be a tight squeeze. Well just to inform you I dusted off my weights and in full swing. Never too late to lift, do you even?

Festive times leading up to NYE. The nostalgic memories slowly fading. Coming across and reading a valid post in your newsfeed that popped up. Which immediately changes your throwback  mindset and bringing you back to the current. Changing to more positive thought process and being optimistic of what the new year holds. Exciting thought isn't it?

Yet, the point is to discover what are you going to do different or leave behind - in order to make that change to reach the point where you see yourself.

Chow for now
